Sustainability Internship – Hybrid Position, Spring 2026

We are now looking for a paid intern who will analyze our reporting in accordance with Greenhouse Gas protocol for Scope 3 in order to suggest realistic and concrete targets to reduce our CO₂ emissions. About the internship
Your main responsibility will be to conduct an in-depth analysis of what is reported in accordance with Greenhouse Gas Protocol for, both upstream and downstream, in Scope 3. Based on your findings together with an understanding of our overall operations and current situation, you will propose concrete, realistic and measurable targets to reduce our CO₂ emissions for Scope 3. You will work closely with our Sustainability Manager & Business Controller and the reporters from our companies within Embellence Group.
The internship runs from February to June at 50% with a flexible schedule. The role is primarily remote, but regular visits to our headquarters are required. The internship is paid; however, travel and accommodation are not covered, so it is advantageous to have prior connections to Borås/Göteborg or the surrounding area. Working hours should primarily be during daytime, but with flexibility to accommodate ongoing studies.
Profile
We are looking for someone studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree who can turn complex data into clear insights and visualizations, thrives in a fast-paced global environment, and has a strong business sense. Preferably, you have some work experience so that you understand business operations, models, and structures. You have a basic understanding of structure of reporting CO₂ emissions and basic sustainability understanding. You should be comfortable with numbers, eager to learn, and fluent in both Swedish and English.
- Likes to distill complex results or processes into simple, clear visualizations
- Explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner
- Significant experience applying analytics to business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data
- Have strong project management skills
- A pro-active team player and not afraid to take ownership of own projects
- Thriving in a global fast-paced environment, and having a flexible and agile mentality
- Having a strong interest in learning and developing your business understanding
- You are preferably pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Analysis/Statistics, Environmental Science/Sustainability, or another relevant field.
- You are fluent in both Swedish and English
